I wrote this song for my younger brother Anthony and I to play at a family concert. My goal was to write something that a younger audience would find fun and exciting, yet was still playable for my brother. The result is this song which I called ‘Fury’.

Fury is written for violin, cello, and piano. As the title suggests, the piece is dramatic. The form is ABA-coda with the A theme being fast and dark in mood and the B theme much calmer. Throughout the piece, the violin and cello trade melodies off to each other, only really playing together in the short, fast coda.
